Who I am

00 — Who I am

I started out taking photos. But what really hooked me was understanding the why: what the brand wants, who it’s talking to and how that ends up moving their customers. So I brought the two sides together. The audiovisual craft and the business.

Social content / what running a community taught me

For a year I ran a fashion account on TikTok and it got out of hand, in a good way: 80,000 followers and a video that went past 4.9 million views. I left it behind, but I kept what matters: how you hook people, how you work with brands and what “communicating” really means — something I’d put to use years later creating content for other brands:

Brands

02 — Who I’ve worked with

Brands and clients I’ve worked with: Puma, Scuffers, Vesta Garments, Orggeïl and Mesón Delfín.

Fashion and lifestyle collaborations (Puma, Scuffers, Vesta Garments) from my content days, two years directing and editing video for Orggeïl, and photo and communication work for restaurants through Elur. Different sectors, same way of working: understand what they need and get it done.

Journey

03 — How I got here
Before anything else
Where I come from
I grew up in Redondela, a town near Vigo. I’ve always admired my parents above any footballer or actor. They didn’t have it easy growing up, but through hard work and education they gave my sister and me a decent life. From them I learned effort, humility and respect.

Teenage years
Windsurfing and discipline
The sea taught me what no school does: consistency, grit and the habit of getting back up and trying again. That has served me for everything since — and it has introduced me to some wonderful people.

University
Journalism in Santiago, and an honours mark
I studied Journalism at USC. The degree wasn’t really my thing and I’ll admit it was a struggle to finish, but I earned top honours in one subject that blew my mind, taught by a professor I admire: Politics with Miguel Anxo Bastos. My best academic memory (not that it has much competition).

80,000 followers on TikTok
A fashion account that grew more than I expected. Brands, my first self-made income and my first real lesson in what works and what doesn’t on social media.

2023 — 2025
Two years of video for Orggeïl
Direction, camera and editing for Orggeïl, on an ongoing basis: 30+ reels, two podcasts, a documentary and four photo shoots. That is where I learned to deliver with quality and on time, week after week.

Final thesis on entrepreneurship
I built my final degree project around my own entrepreneurial process. I even produced an audiovisual MVP for the submission instead of staying in theory.

Today
Elur and sports photography
I work for myself: Elur, my photo and communication project for restaurants, and championship coverage for Galician clubs and federations. I built a system so every family can view and buy their photos online the same day — that’s what makes each championship pay for itself.

About me

07 — About me

I’m from Redondela, and since I was a kid I’ve been drawn equally to making things and to understanding how businesses work.

Windsurfing gave me discipline. Journalism, the urge to tell stories. TikTok showed me that communication done well truly moves people. Today I bring it all together: photo, video and communication, always with an eye on the business behind it. I’m comfortable being the bridge between the idea and the execution, where someone has to understand the goal and also know how to make it happen.

Pablo González.
